| The Goliath cargo walker is a fairly inexpensive vehicle primarily used for transporting cargo over short distances, usually within a cargo bay or similar facility. The Goliath utilizes specially-designed hands that operate similar to the forks on binary load lifters, and the walker has shown in various performance tests to be able to lift as much as its droid counterpart. Many businesses prefer to use the Goliath because it is operated by an organic being, and they don't have to worry about dealing with the limited intelligence of the droid load lifter. In addition to its primary function as a load lifter, certain starports on frontier worlds have successfully used the Goliath as a defense vehicle against wild creatures encroaching on the starport's facilities.
