T-29 Stormlord adapted from Colony Wars by Patrick Stutzman

The T-29 Stormlord is a starfighter/bomber specifically designed to engage capital ships from long distances. With heavy shielding and a reinforced hull, the T-29 has proven its effectiveness on ships as large as a Mon Calamari MC80 Star Cruiser. The original prototype for the T-29 was revealed a few years ago at a gathering of top officials from Devasta, Inc. on a moon of an undisclosed planet. Everything went well, until a previously-unknown flaw of the fighter caused the ship to explode during a test flight, crash into the observation area and kill three of the officials.
