Heart of Flesh

The Heart of Flesh is a Qektoth attack cruiser that was designed at the same time as the Scourge, which is the ship encountered by the Farstar at Qu'mock. Although the Scourge was the first of its class to be completed, the Heart of Flesh was being perfected at a hidden facility within the Rift. Like the Scourge, the Heart of Flesh has the same plasma cannons and bio-energy weapons, which pass through shields without any loss of power. But, they also are not affected by ion weapons, since they are independent of the ship's main reactor. The shields of the Heart of Flesh are improved over those of the Scourge, since they can now defend against two fire arcs simultaneously.
