Gunthar (update)


Much to the surprise of almost everyone aboard the Farstar, Gunthar is discovered to be not just one of the Yvarema, but one of the royal explorers. He was one of the few that was meant to pilot one of the races scout vessels into the Rift. Gunthar led his exploration team on its first voyage away from home, when it was unexpectedly attacked by slavers, who took him captive and killed the rest of his team. Suddenly cut off from the rest of his people, he suffered the effects to his intelligence.

Returning home has restored Gunthar's intellect and much of his personality. He is considered on the same lines as nobility within Yvareman society, which he demonstrates by speaking in refined tones and quoting ancient Yvareman texts.

Just like all other Yvarema, Gunthar is unswervingly loyal to his Majjvara. His first priority, which he will want to accomplish above all else, is to report his journeys and findings to his leader.
