Waric Nane

Darkstryder (Kathol Outback) Adventure: "Galaxy's Edge" Waric Nane is currently one of the Ministers of the planet Danoor in the Kathol Outback. He feels that the government should set up a strict totalitarian government, believing that anything that falls within the government's jurisdiction should be protected using, among other methods, curfews and a strong military and police presence. In the two years since he became a minister, he has convinced two other ministers that his plan is best and feels that implementation of his ideas is imminent. However, his ideas are not very popular with other parties, and they have issued death threats against Nane. Feeling the need for additional protection from these "insurgents", Nane decided to purchase some assassin droids through the black market. When Captain Treidum arrived at Danoor and posed as a New Republic representative, Nane and the other ministers fell for the trick. Treidum later met with Nane in private, mysteriously bypassing all of his security measures, and presented his true identity as an officer of the Empire. Seeing the Imperial government operate much like what he wants on Danoor, Nane stated that he would seriously consider Treidum's offer to ally with the Empire. Treidum gave a strange trapezoidal device to Nane to be used to summon the Empire in the event of an emergency. All Nane had to do was activate the device if the New Republic should arrive on Danoor and keep them occupied until the Empire returns. Nane is a tall man, standing near two meters in height, with a slight, almost sickly frame. He has long, gray sideburns and short grayish-white hair. His most noticeable habit is gripping his hands in front of him and constantly adjusting their interlaced positions.
