|The Tuhgri originate from a small planet called Ehjenla located somewhere in the Kathol Outback. Their form of government is tribal, with each chieftain (or Gaawan) maintaining order over his or her own tribe. The Gaawans gather together annually at the House of Balance, the location where each tribe is considered to hold an equal amount of power and influence so disputes can be settled and planet-wide politics can be made.
The Tuhgri follow a monotheistic religion, where the Great Creator has created and provided everything they need to survive. Due to this underlying doctrine, they have a basic law stating that nobody may own anything. Any Tuhgri that needs a particular object may borrow it until the individual no longer needs it. However, this particular "custom" has caused difficulties in their relations with other species of the sector, even to the point where the Tuhgri have been banned from entire worlds.
A strong sense of tribal unity exists within Tuhgri culture, and this unity extends to anyone from any species that spends at least three months as their ally. The Tuhgri are willing to offer the use of anything they have, and the same is expected from all other tribe members.
Tuhgri stand at an average height of 1.25 meters and have wrinkled, mottled-red skin. They are completely hairless and have small circular eyes and ears. Their noses resemble elongated diamonds and have four nostrils, one on each lower facet. They have six-fingered hands at the end of their gangly arms. The tops of their heads are covered with bony ridges that criss-cross across their scalp in chaotic patterns.
