The Desaclates, like most other cruisers of the Airfleet of Exocron, is a smaller version of the Maxion in many aspects. The one exception to the rule is that no Skylarks are assigned to it due to a lack of sufficient storage space, just like the other cruisers. It patrols the skies and defends the Devisor's lands from hostile invaders and other enemies, such as sky pirates. Against most foes, the cruiser has proven itself time and time again to be a formidable ship. But, recent technology acquired by certain factions may test the ship's abilities and may eventually prove to be its downfall.
