The Corsair Raider is an example of a new type of ship flown by sky pirates on Exocron. This particular model is a winged, torpedo-shaped gunship that is highly maneuverable for its size and rather fast when compared to other Exocron airships. Coupled with weaponry similar to that used by the Skylarks and its complement of air-to-air missiles, the Raider can be a tough opponent. Despite its slightly larger size, it has proven to be a match for the Skylarks employed by the Devisors, and large numbers of Raiders can be enough to cripple or destroy a cruiser or air-cutter.
