Confederation Space Station

Confederation Space Station

The designers of this space station originally intended for it to study the Gandle Ott region over 100 years before the Farstar's arrival in the Kathol sector. Mere months after reaching its destination, the station disappeared, and its crew were lost in the mostly unexplored area of space.

Records aboard the station reveal that a group of colonists, composed primarily of several crimelords and hundreds of escaped criminals, invaded the station and hijacked the orbiter. The criminals used their ship to tow their new prize back to their hidden base, where they set it up to be used as a communications center to monitor the events of the Known Galaxy as well as any subspace communications at their new home.

Thirty-four years afterward, a huge quake destroyed nearly everything on the planet, leaving the station unclaimed in orbit around the dead world. Twenty-six years before the present time, the station was found again by Drigor Tarrens and brought it to the attentionof the Qektoth Confederation. The confederation decided to claim it, restore the station to its original scientific purpose and deploy it in the Qu'mock system, where they could conduct any research they needed in secret.

The station is very rarely visited by anyone other than the single supply ship sent monthly from the Qektoth Confederation. It offers limited services and has few docking bays that can be used by visiting ships.
