Captain Horzao Darr

Darkstryder (Kathol Outback) Adventure: "The Masters of Exocron" At the age of 12, Horzao Darr began his military career by stowing away aboard a sky transport on Exocron. To pay his fare for the voyage, Darr was indentured to the ship's captain and quickly learned how to be a sky-sailor. He served aboard that vessel for several years before enlisting in the Airfleet Academy. Passing with honors, he graduated with an officer's commission and his own ship to command. Although life was good for him at that time, the general political climate of Exocron was not so good. The world was divided into various regimes. The Airfleet was desperately needed to keep the Devisor's government together. Darr's ship, the air-cutter Loristar, fought through enemy lines to bring relief supplies to surrounded troops. He received command of the fleet's flagship, the Maxion, as a result and has been involved with political intrigue and controversy ever since. Various representatives within the military wish to have Darr appointed as the Supreme Admiral of the Airfleet, to position him where he can take power. However, Darr continues to resist these efforts, preferring a life among the clouds instead of in an enclosed office.
