Darkstryder adventure: "Death is Remotely Possible"

A thin man with a short grey mustache and iron-grey hair, General Dade is a hearty man who chain-smokes chak-root. He is the head of Gandle Ott's planetary militia and the highest-ranking native in the government. He doesn't care much for Sarne or the Empire, much like most of the population of Gandle Ott. But, since he isn't angry with them, he has never admitted it to anyone.

Dade welcomes the New Republic and is glad that Sarne is gone, but he does not want anyone else to dictate terms to his homeworld again. He is in the process of deposing Lang, and the two are distinctly cool toward each other. Dade fears that the planet can no longer properly defend itself from pirates that frequent the sector.

Dade is not known for his skills in diplomacy and is likely to say something awkward at some point. However, he is quite popular with the native populace and is using this to his advantage to position himself for a bid for the presidency of the planet's long-dormant domestic government.

Although he is not very diplomatic, he is no fool and very good at reading people. As the highest-ranking military officer on the planet (not including those hiding from Sarne), he has access to a great deal of sensitive information gathered by Cuthbert and other agents. He is not above using this information to his own ends.
