Darkstryder Adventure: "Shintel Downtime"

Colonel Heget is a middle-aged man with a lined face and tired eyes. Despite this, he is in superb health and maintains acute senses.

Heget comes from the old school, when it comes to Imperial doctrine. Earlier in his life, he was entirely devoted to Palpatine's New Order. But, he became tired of dealing with the internal politics and patronizing that came with it.

Thinking he could escape the political backstabbing by transferring to the Kathol sector, Heget was severely disappointed when he discovered Moff Sarne's ambitions.

Since Heget refused to swear loyalty to Sarne, the moff rewarded his decision by assigning him to the tiny post on Shintel. He is living proof that Sarne prefers loyalty over ability, since Heget was once a major in one of the Imperial Army's highest decorated special missions battalions.

Heget has spent two years on Shintel, and he has used that time to shape up the guards stationed there into peak condition. They have been trained in wilderness survival, special reconnaissance and AT-ST combat tactics. However, Sarne continued to send soldiers that didn't agree with his ideology to Shintel, which caused further chaos within the community.

The one thing that differentiates Heget from Sarne is honor and loyalty to his men.
