Lancer Brunou

Darkstryder adventure: "Artifact of Aaris" Dr. Brunou was a well-respected professor of archaeology at the University of Byblos during the height of the Empire. After the Battle of Endor, he began to feel that stability in the galaxy was seriously threatened. He resigned from his position at the university and spent several years wandering the Outer Rim Territories, visiting various archaeological sites and trying to find some semblance of order in his life. His wanderings eventually led him to Kal'Shebbol, when he heard rumors of a Moff trying to recreate the Empire. He joined Moff Sarne and was given the opportunity to examine several strange artifacts from a place or person known only as Darkstryder. However, Brunou was assigned as the head of the Aaris III mission before he could thoroughly examine the artifacts. After hand picking his team and completing other preparations and research, he set out for Aaris. Brunou is extremely loyal to the concept of the Empire, although his self-preservation instincts may occasionally override that loyalty. He can suppress his loyalty to convince the crew of the Farstar to bring him and his assistant, Solla Deremot, aboard, but he could be subversive if allowed to mingle with the crew. Brunou believes that the Empire can be reformed from the chaos created by the New Republic, and he could act toward bringinb about that end.
