Boom

A short, hunched alien with a hairy face and beady eyes, Boom wanders around the Farstar mumbling to himself and occasionally saying "boom" aloud. Although not much is known about Guudrians, it is widely known that Boom loves fire and explosions. Boom is entranced by anything and everything that is bright and flickering, ranging from the flame on his mini-flamer to large explosions. Whenever he sees or hears an explosion, he runs toward it rather than away from it or taking cover like most other people. He is often seen testing the flammable or explosive nature of numerous materials found on the ship, which usually means destroying the personal belongings of other crew members. The only crewmember that is able to exert any kind of control over Boom is Krudar, the Duros gunner, who also serves as his translator. The command staff of the Farstar was convinced to allow Boom on board by Krudar due to his proficiency with rigging various kinds of explosive devices. However, Boom needs to be watched constantly, or he could cause damage to the ship or the crew with his pyrotechnic experiments.
