| Born and raised on Coruscant during the early stages of Palpatine's New Order, Qualtis Majint was raised like any other child of an Imperial officer in a household with strict rules and high expectations. Upon reaching the age of 18, she enlisted in the Imperial Academy and graduated qualified to become a stormtrooper. After a year in the service, Qualtis was discontent with military life and went AWOL. Fortunately for her, she left approximately one year before the Empire's defeat at the Battle of Endor. Qualtis left Coruscant to try to find her way in the galaxy. She decided to use the skills she had learned and became a bounty hunter. Starting out with small jobs, she was able to earn a simple living while traveling from planet to planet. But one day, everything changed due to an encounter on Tatooine with a young man named Jan Tolbara. An unexpected encounter with the notorious bounty hunter, Dengar, forced Qualtis to join together with Jan after locating his brother at a cantina in Mos Eisley spaceport. Soon, the young bounty hunter found herself in the midst of a New Republic fleet. Deciding to take advantage of the situation, she hired herself out to the "Rebellion" on contract as an operative. Currently, she holds a position as a New Republic Intelligence agent and travels with the crew of the Smiling Sarlacc for many of her missions. During one such mission, Qualtis discovered that she is sensitive to the Force (much to her distaste). After being convinced by Jan Tolbara, she has begrudgingly begun training as a Jedi. Qualtis is recognized by the leaders of the New Republic as one of the Heroes of Mon Calamari for her actions in saving the homeworld of the Mon Calamari from the Empire's World Devastators.
