Kianna von der Thann

Born on Chandrila during the height of the Old Republic, Kianna was raised to serve the Republic like a good senator's daughter. She grew up and became an intelligence agent and liaison between the Senate and the Jedi Knights. Traveling back to Coruscant from the secret Jedi Research and Development Center, a hive virus broke out on the dreadnaught she was on. Kianna was ordered into a specially-enhanced cryonic pod to save her life. The rest of the crew died shortly thereafter. Over 500 years later, the dreadnaught was discovered in deep space by the crew of the Smiling Sarlacc. After being revived, Kianna was brought up to date on galactic events, including the transformation of the Republic by Palpatine's New Order into the Empire and its fall and replacement by the New Republic. Kianna now works with the New Republic as a liaison to the newly-established Jedi Academy recently started by Luke Skywalker and works with his first apprentice to become a Jedi Knight, Jan Tolbara.
