Arsan Telk

Arsan was born on Naboo five years after the peace treaty was established between the Humans and Gungans following the attack by the Trade Federation. Several years later when Palpatine began implementing his New Order throughout the galaxy during his term as Supreme Chancellor, the people of Naboo voiced their dissatisfaction. As a result, Palpatine began subjugating his own homeworld. Arsan, in his mid-20's at the time and working as a guard for the Naboo court, managed to acquire a shuttle and escape the invasion.

Traveling the galaxy, Arsan decided to begin working as a mercenary, since he could not return home to Naboo. One particular job had Arsan helping an archaeologist sneak past Imperial security forces to investigate some ruins on the world of Ossus. Imperial Security found them and attacked. Arsan was captured, imprisoned at the local garrison and scheduled to be terminated. Within a short time, the Smiling Sarlacc was captured and its crew imprisoned while trying to assist the newly-found Kianna von der Thann. The crew managed to break out of the prison block and freed Arsan in the process. Owing a life debt to them as a result, the Gungan decided to stay with them.

Currently, Arsan is enlisted as a lieutenant in the New Republic army, and he continues to travel with the crew of the Smiling Sarlacc.

Arsan is recognized by the leaders of the New Republic as one of the Heroes of Mon Calamari for his actions in saving the homeworld of the Mon Calamari from the Empire's World Devastators.
