Merr-Sonn MP-19 "Striker" Blaster Carbine

The Merr-Sonn MP-19 "Striker" Blaster Carbine was developed to aid commandos and urban assault soldiers in clearing out a target. The versatility of the weapon allows small strike groups to maneuver with a decent amount of firepower with little encumberance.

Measured at 54.1 cm in length, the "Striker" carbine comes standard with a detachable folding stock and increases the overall length to 74.9 cm when extended. A standard power pack, housed in front of the trigger guard, supplies energy for 80 shots before needing to be replaced. The carbine comes standard with a laser sight (+2 to attack roll), grenade launcher (Range Inc: 8 meters, uses standard grenades, fires in single-fire mode only) and a selector switch between the blaster and grenade launcher. A vibrobayonet (Damage: 2d4+1, Critical: 20, Weight: 1.3 kg, Type: Slashing/Piercing, Size: Small, Type: Vibro) may be added for an additional 300 credits.

The standard tactic used by soldiers using the "Striker" carbine is to fire a single grenade and then charge in using blaster fire. This tactic has been used successfully with Imperial units as well as Rebel commandos and independent mercenary groups.
